The “Friends of the Peshastin Library” sponsored a Pancake Breakfast as a fund raiser for the local public library, and the Community Council participated by providing for Mr and Mrs Santa Claus to visit, great local children with goodie bags of items donated by local businesses. The Peshastin unit of Chelan County Fire District 6 helped Santa to arrive on time through the first snow storm of the season. Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer were resting in preparation for their upcoming long journey around the world in a couple of weeks.

The event was a terrific success. Lots of new and old faces got to meet, have a great breakfast and a fun time together. Live music was presented by a select group from the Cascade High School Honor Choir, which is headed to New York City for a competition.
