Peshastin Pet Parade 2008

PeshastinPetParade 2008

The community of Peshastin holds its annual Pet Parade each year on the Saturday before school gets out in June. Pets range from ant farms to rabbits, dogs, horses and even stuffed bears. The 2008 parade was lead by Grand Marshal Lovelle Jeffris and the Icicle River Middle School Band, directed by Annie Chalmers, and was rounded out by numerous local families and their favorite pets. The parade began at the American Legion Hall in downtown Peshastin and concluded with prizes and popsicles at the Peshastin/Dryden Elementary School. A fun time is always had by all, and it’s a great opportunity to get out and meet the neighbors.
